Ashley Crich

Ashley is a Partner in the Finance Executive Search Practice. Based in London, he recruits senior financial appointments within the South East, and is supported by his PA Kelly Stokes. He was promoted to Partner in July 2024.

Ashley has over fourteen years’ experience recruiting finance professionals across the breadth of the UK, for PLCs through to SMEs, including a blend of privately held and private equity backed businesses in growth and transition phases. He has an excellent track record in appointing CFOs and Finance Directors, as well as specialist appointments such as strategic finance, mergers and acquisitions, and technical specialists, including group finance, regulatory finance, treasury, and audit. His sector experience is broad, including business and professional services, manufacturing, telecommunications and technology, energy and utilities, real estate, retail and FMCG, and financial services.

Prior to joining Berwick Partners, Ashley worked for two successful boutique finance recruiters in Leeds and London, and spent six years as the Head of Division at a global specialist finance recruiter, overseeing a team whilst personally delivering the senior finance appointments across all sectors.

Ashley is a Business Economics graduate from the University of Liverpool. Outside of work he enjoys family life with his wife, three young children, and dog. When the sun is out he takes every opportunity to play golf and cycle the Surrey Hills.
