For our Consultant community we offer:

  • A Group induction and a three week pre-planned on-boarding programme
  • A wide range of in-house ‘lunch & learns’ hosted by established Managers and Partners on topics which vary depending on demand. These are interactive discussions rather than training courses, and typically support the management of a retained search assignment, business development initiatives, and commercial or financial insights
  • We utilise an exceptional external training provider – an ex-MD of a recruitment company – to deliver one and two-day courses on Business Development, Pitching to Win and Negotiation Skills
  • We have created our own Principal Development Programme – for those who we believe have the potential to become our future Partners. This takes 12 months to complete and incorporates external leadership development, coaching, projects and business cases
  • For those who have a specific need we will match you with a mentor who can provide you with individual, tailored support
  • We have developed a transparent career ladder, highlighting the journey from Graduate Researcher through to Partner. This has allowed us to develop much of our own talent.

Team Assistants and PAs

Over recent years we have successfully trained and promoted 10 Team Assistants into PA positions, with 38% of our current team having started with us as Team Assistants. Some of those have taken on the PA support of our busiest and most senior Partners/Heads of Practice. We provide a unique opportunity for those seeking a career in executive support by offering un-paralleled training, mentorship, and support from a diverse and extremely experienced team of established PAs.


Our research team supports the Consultants in identifying, engaging and delivering quality candidates for our clients.

The researcher career path enables you to develop your researcher skillset, gradually taking more ownership over the process and delivery of a search, and working closely with the consultants to deliver exceptional candidates for our clients. You will progress from Researcher, to Senior Researcher, to Principal Researcher.

We will support you each step of the way through your career journey, along whichever path you decide to take.
