Caitlin Tickell joined Berwick Partners as a Principal Consultant in the Government Practice in 2023. She brings with her a wealth of expertise in recruiting for senior leadership roles within the public sector. Caitlin is supported by her PA Ellie Barrett.

Caitlin’s work revolves around connecting exceptional leaders with public sector organisations. Her extensive network spans across various sectors, including central government departments, non-departmental public bodies, parliaments, and local government entities. Caitlin’s geographical remit extends nationwide, making her a key player in recruiting top talent for public institutions.

I am genuinely passionate about supporting highly talented and diverse leaders to progress in public sector careers, bringing innovation and expertise to organisations that affect the lives of everyone in society.

Notable roles Caitlin has filled include senior leadership positions at the Houses of Parliament, Sunderland City Council, leading think tanks, and non-profits dedicated to enhancing democratic participation.

In addition to her client-focused role, Caitlin is a member of the LGBTQ+ Allies Group within the firm, showcasing her commitment to diversity and inclusion. Caitlin’s educational background includes an MChem from Balliol College, University of Oxford, and she is currently pursuing a Masters in Public Policy and Management at Birkbeck, University of London.

Outside of her professional life, Caitlin enjoys hiking, running, and more recently has embarked upon pottery as a creative outlet.
