Alex is a Principal Consultant in the Education Executive Search Practice.
She specialises in recruiting senior Higher Education appointments with experience that spans the sector, including specialist institutions, modern universities, new-build institutions, and the Russell Group. She works across the academic and professional functions with senior level executive search experience in Chair, Senior Academic, Senior Professional Services, and Executive Leadership appointments.
Prior to joining Berwick Partners Alex worked for a leading specialist executive search firm in the global Higher Education sector. Before she started her career in recruitment, Alex instructed Business English courses at Merck Serono and Universidad Tecnológica Nacional in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Alex graduated from the University of Rhode Island with a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Anthropology and Italian language. After travelling, she returned to the UK where she began her recruitment career, quickly finding a niche space in the Education sector.

The theme of this year’s conference was ‘Transforming Culture: Challenging Times’ and looked at the important role HR professionals in the university community play in shaping organisational cultures that respond to current and anticipated sector changes.
