Clare is a Principal Researcher, specialising in the Education Practice.

With an extensive background in academic and professional services leadership appointments in higher education, Clare brings valuable expertise and plays a pivotal role in supporting universities in their pursuit of academic and professional excellence. 

Clare works with a range of universities, including those in the Russell Group, post-1992 institutions, and related organisations. Her notable placements include the Head of School of Museum Studies at the University of Leicester, multiple Heads of School at the University of Leeds, and the Director of Digital Learning at the University of Portsmouth.

I enjoy finding the perfect candidates to fulfil our clients’ ambitions, whilst it is also incredibly rewarding to help our candidates to find a role in which they will flourish. 

Before joining Berwick Partners, Clare graduated in 2014 with a degree in Infection & Immunity from Aston University. During her studies, she completed a placement year in one of Aston University’s postgraduate laboratories and contributed to a published peer-reviewed paper. Prior to that, she gained practical experience working for a local accountancy firm for five consecutive summers, where she carried out junior accountancy work and administrative tasks. 

Outside of work, Clare has a love for live music and has travelled extensively across the UK and overseas to attend gigs and festivals.
