Head of Business Development – Crimestoppers – Wallington, Greater London - c£60,000 and benefits

Who We Are: Crimestoppers is an independent charity giving individuals the power to speak up about crime, completely anonymously. Through our 24/7 phone lines and online services, we provide a safe way for people to share information and advice to protect their loved ones. Since our founding in 1988, we have helped over 140,000 arrests, building safer communities across the UK.

The Role: As Head of Business Development, you’ll play a pivotal role in securing the income that drives our mission forward. Working closely with the CEO and the Head of Business Development, you will be responsible for building and growing our commercial partnerships and fundraising efforts, helping Crimestoppers expand our services and influence how crime is addressed in the UK.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead Generation: Cultivate new leads through personal networks, third-party relationships, and Crimestoppers-hosted events, demonstrating initiative and entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Pipeline Management: Build and maintain a pipeline in line with Crimestoppers financial objectives.
  • Strategy Support: Contribute to the evolution of the commercial income strategy in collaboration with the Business Development Director and Regional Managers.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Sales: Proven ability in new business sales and closing deals that deliver return on investment (ROI) targets.
  • Strategic Vision: A strategic thinker with a solutions-focused mindset, who is able to identify opportunities and deliver value for clients.
  • (Non-Essential) B2B: Experience of working in a Business to Business (B2B) selling environment
