The Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Chief Membership Officer to lead our Membership division. This senior-level position is a key part of the Director General’s executive board and oversees a diverse team of 138 professionals. The Chief Membership Officer will inspire people to consider civil and infrastructure engineering, recruit members, and help them qualify and maintain their engagement throughout their careers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive membership growth through strong marketing initiatives.
- Provide strategic oversight of qualifications, marketing, and professional services.
- Develop modern, robust digital platforms to enhance member engagement.
- Represent the Membership division in internal and external stakeholder groups.
- Create and maintain relationships with key members and external stakeholders.
- Lead the implementation of ICE’s new CRM system.
- Inspire, develop, and lead the Membership team to deliver the Business Plan.
- Ensure budgets are set and managed effectively.
About You:
You will have substantial leadership and management experience, with the ability to inspire and motivate large, diverse teams. You will be adept at stakeholder engagement and management, bringing diverse groups together to forge consensus. Your experience will include change leadership, project management, and delivering improved performance. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential, along with good financial planning and budget management skills.
Qualifications:
- Degree level qualification essential.
- Professional engineering qualification desirable.
