Director of Fundraising, Theirworld, Salary: Starting from £90,000 + exceptional benefits including 4 day working week, Location: London

To deliver on its five-year strategy and grow as an organisation, Theirworld are seeking an individual with a problem-solving mindset and ability to take initiative and “think outside the box” to lead and manage the organisation's digital and public fundraising strategies.

The role is crucial in driving strategies to increase revenue and engagement and will focus on organising and managing participation events, securing corporate and school sponsorship, cultivating regular donors, coordinating fundraising mailings, and promoting legacy giving. The Director will work closely with the Chair and President to align fundraising efforts with the organisation's strategic goals.

The Candidate
  • Proven experience in digital and public fundraising, preferably within the non-profit sector.
  • Strong track record of developing and implementing successful fundraising strategies, leading to revenue growth.
  • A strong practical understanding of fundraising principles, including developing fundraising appeals, campaigns, and regular giving products.
  • Proven track record in organising and managing public fundraising events, including coordinating logistics, securing sponsorship and promoting events to maximise attendance and donations.
  • Experience of developing and maintaining relationships with donors, including individuals and corporates. This involves personalised communication and recognition programmes.
  • Excellent understanding of digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media, direct marketing, and online fundraising tools.
  • Passionate about the mission and values of Theirworld.
