About Us
As the region’s leading children’s and young adult’s hospice service, Naomi House & Jacksplace have a reputation for providing expert care to some of the most complex children and young adults from across the south. Working from a solid base of an established and highly respected specialist hospice service, this is a unique opportunity to help shape the expanding services of the Trust, within a dynamic and evolving healthcare environment.
But our plans don’t just focus on maintaining a reputation for quality care; they drive us to reach more and do more, so more children and young people can receive expert, personalised and thoughtful support for good days, difficult days and last days. And our people, both staff and volunteers, are vital to our success.
Reporting to the Chief Executive, as Director of People & Culture you will deliver strategic and operational leadership on all people initiatives, to embed the culture that helps us achieve our goals. With a small professional team of both HR and Volunteer colleagues, you will design and implement all core HR processes such as recruitment, reward and retention, learning and development, and colleague feedback and engagement, to staff and volunteers across all departments.
We face the same challenges as any public sector or commercial organisation in times of social, political and economic changes. But the dedication and creativity of our people means we tackle those challenges with determination. If you share our values and can demonstrate the same determination, we’d like to hear from you.
