As a leading UK specialist provider within the plumbing, heating, utility and infrastructure sectors, the Group is made up of several business divisions and brands. Their goal is simple; to be the customer’s number one choice. This is delivered through exceptional people, products and service. Following recent acquisitions and internal promotions, the business is now seeking to appoint an ambitious and forward-thinking senior leader to build upon the success within the Infrastructure Division. With sales in excess of c£450m, the business is expected to double within the next 5 years.
This is a critical role that will play a pivotal part in the ambitious growth journey of these brands.
The Role
- Drive the Infrastructure division’s strategic direction, with specific responsibility for sales growth and operational efficiency.
- Inspire and lead large high-performance teams (sales and multi-site operations) instilling a culture of continuous improvement. Working closely with the Divisional MD, you will utilise market and customer insights to formulate and deliver innovative sales and service plans.
- Build and maintain relationships with key internal stakeholders at a senior level and across other divisions/brands.
The Person
- Clear commitment and leadership, able to demonstrate a record of building and developing large teams to deliver improved existing and new opportunities.
- An articulate and inspirational communicator with a high degree of commercial acumen. A strategic thinker who can deliver commercial transformation through people and processes.
- Experience operating within B2B commercial environments; ideally with knowledge of infrastructure and construction industry or related industries. Able to demonstrate a good level of functional breadth and experience.
