West Yorkshire Combined Authority (the Combined Authority) is the regional governing body responsible for coordinating and improving various aspects of public services, connecting people to better living standards, higher-earning jobs, and improving overall health and well-being.

We see mass transit as essential to helping our communities thrive and our economy flourish, bringing people and places closer together. We want to make our transport system much easier, both to use and to understand. So easy in fact that taking quick, joined-up journeys becomes second nature for us all.

Our Director of Mass Transit will be responsible for driving forward delivery of these projects and programmes, working closely with partners to do so. They will lead their team to approach the scoping, development and delivery of mass transit systems innovatively, to give the people of West Yorkshire the best connected transport service possible.
