Partnership and Group Accountant – OC&C Strategy Consultants Central London – Competitive Salary

The Role

As part of their continued international growth, they are now seeking a Partnership and Group Accountant to build their capabilities in ensuring high standards of reporting, governance, and compliance, leveraging technology, and building capabilities. They are on a growth journey and there are always projects and ongoing business development that require strong technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

Partnership Accounting  

  • Ensure all partnership matters accounted for correctly in line with LLP SORP. 
  • Develop playbook on Limited Liability Partnerships specific accounting.
  • Automate and run quarterly partner remuneration statements.

Controlling and Accounting Policy

  • Develop best-in-class controls to ensure robust financial statements and disclosures, driving consistency across the group and adherence to local GAAP requirements and bridge to Group accounting (UK GAAP).
  • Support, create and develop clear accounting policies for the group.
  • Review, assess and develop controls to prevent fraud and associated reporting.

Statutory Reporting and Audit

  • Production of financial statements and associated disclosures in support of statutory audits (UK and group) and support statutory audits in international jurisdictions.
  • Ensuring appropriate treatment of legal and tax items within group accounts, working with Head of Tax and Legal Counsel.


  • Ensure accurate treasury accounting and implementing segregation of duty practices.

Change and Projects

  • Support business changes as required, advising on correct accounting treatment and leading on updates to systems, processes and control (e.g. Business Combinations, new geography expansion, systems development, in housing accounting & accounting developments).

The Candidate


  • The successful candidate will be technically strong, specifically regarding accounting for LLPs and consolidating international groups.
  • Ability to assess and define fraud (and other) risks and implement controls to reduce exposure.
  • Delivery of change and excellence in Finance accounting at scale across jurisdictions.
