Head of Property Transformation, Liverpool City Council, £66,740 - £74,019, Liverpool (Hybrid)

About the Role

Liverpool City Council is embarking on an ambitious property transformation programme, and we are recruiting for a new Head of Property Transformation to join the Property Senior Management Team.

Are you an inspirational, strategic leader with a background in Property or Transformation? Do you have the credibility, confidence, and skills to help transform the property function into a high-performing, customer-centric service that maximises its property portfolio?

This exciting new role will lead on the property improvement and transformation plan, and work closely with Dave Lord, our new Director of Property, to develop and implement a new Corporate Landlord Model. The Head of Property Transformation will also work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders on the delivery of key organisational wide property strategies such as the Strategic Asset Management Plan and the Accommodation Strategy.

 

About the Candidate

You will need experience of leading and managing large-scale strategic transformation programmes along with excellent relationship management skills. You will have experience of embedding a high-performance, high-quality, customer-centric culture within services to continually improve being the best that it can be. You will champion personal and professional growth, alongside the health and wellbeing of your teams, ensuring an inclusive, empowering approach to constantly improve and achieve the best outcomes.

The ideal candidate will be a strong, strategic and inspirational leader, an exceptional collaborator capable of bringing together, inspiring and enabling diverse teams and partners to deliver results. You will be resilient, comfortable with scrutiny, change, complexity and uncertainty and will be able to navigate and manage different stakeholder needs and multiple demands in a fast-paced environment. You will demonstrate a commitment and enthusiasm to making a difference for residents, you will role model our values and be an ambassador for the Council.
