A global leader in their field within the Oil & Gas industry is seeking an IT & Digital Director to spearhead their digital transformation initiatives. Reporting to the Executive Team, you will develop and execute a comprehensive digital strategy aligned with business goals to drive operational efficiencies, enhance customer experience, and fuel revenue growth.
As the IT & Digital Director, your key responsibilities will include:
Responsibilities
- Formulating and implementing a visionary digital strategy leveraging technologies like cloud, data analytics, AI, and IoT.
- Leading major IT/business change projects and delivering them on time and within budget.
- Identifying and integrating innovative digital solutions across the organisation.
- Overseeing IT systems, infrastructure, and cybersecurity measures in collaboration with external partners.
- Establishing KPIs and metrics to evaluate the impact of digital initiatives.
- Managing the IT budget and resource allocation effectively.
- Providing strategic IT leadership and mentoring a cross-functional team.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a previous track record of driving transformative IT initiatives. You will demonstrate exceptional strategic thinking, business acumen, and a deep grasp of emerging technologies. Strong leadership, communication, and financial skills are essential. Any previous sector experience working within an asset rich organisation, or experience with rental/fleet or hire organisations would be helpful but not essential.
Additional Details
This is a unique opportunity to shape the digital future of this business. The role will require a certain degree of travel across the UK and Europe, with a base location of Aberdeen. The expectation is that you will work on a hybrid basis, 3 days in Aberdeen.
