Opportunities

Chief Executive Officer, Elidyr Communities Trust, Llandovery, Carmarthenshire, c£90,000 per annum + excellent benefits

Elidyr Communities Trust is based in the beautiful Towy Valley in Wales, and has been running services for young people with additional learning needs for almost fifty years. We run a specialist residential further education college, a community residency programme, and offer long term residential living for adults with learning difficulties and disabilities. Our education provision has been awarded 'Excellent' in all areas in our 2019 Estyn inspection and in 2020 we were proud winners of a Natspec Award in the student voice category. We have also been awarded 'Advanced Accreditation' status by the National Autistic Society for our exceptional approach working with young people who have autism.

At the bedrock of our community lies the principle that all residents and learners have a right to the highest quality of care and education. This principle goes to the heart of our mission to deliver the best possible standard of care and education to our residents and students – always and everywhere. As we look forward to celebrating our Golden Anniversary in June 2025, we are looking to build on the remarkable things we have achieved as a charity over the course of the last 50 years.

Our vision is to further grow the charity’s reputation, achieve a flexible and sustainable funding platform for the future, and develop new services delivered to the same high standard that our residents and learners experience today.

We are ambitious and are seeking an outstanding CEO who will lead the organisation through the next chapter of our development. We are looking for someone who will help us make a difference, reach more people and impact more lives.
