1. Key Achievements in Sustainability 

We are proud to share some of our notable achievements in sustainability: 

• Transitioning to a Paperless Firm: We are actively working towards reducing our paper usage globally, minimising our environmental footprint. 

• Sustainable Travel Policy: Our updated travel policy emphasises eco-friendly practices, ensuring our travel choices align with our sustainability goals. 

• Innovative Event Practices: We have revamped our event management by implementing reusable name badges and utilising QR codes for menus and guest lists, significantly reducing waste. 

• Renewable Energy Commitment: Our headquarters now operates entirely on energy sourced from renewable resources, showcasing our dedication to sustainable energy solutions. 

• Efficient Use of Office Space:  We have optimised our office space by only opening one floor of desk space on Mondays and Fridays. This not only enhances our operational efficiency but also ensures that the electricity on the other four floors remains unused, significantly reducing our overall energy consumption. 

2. Future Initiatives 

Looking ahead, we are excited to announce several initiatives aimed at further enhancing our sustainability efforts: 

• Launch of a Sustainable Travel Policy: This new policy will guide our travel practices to ensure they are environmentally responsible. 

• Achieving Near-Term Science Targets by 2028: We are committed to meeting our science-based targets, reinforcing our dedication to measurable sustainability goals. 

• Global Procurement Policies: We aim to implement global policies that will reduce the carbon footprint of our purchases, ensuring that sustainability is at the forefront of our procurement processes. 

• Global Sustainability Day: We plan to establish a dedicated day to celebrate and promote sustainability initiatives across our firm. 

3. How our Sustainability Journey Helps Us Relate to Clients 

As an international executive search firm, we have daily conversations with senior leaders across a diverse range of sectors about the challenges of achieving ambitious sustainability targets and implementing impactful ESG strategies. 

As we address our own carbon footprint, we gain a deeper understanding and empathy for our clients’ sustainability efforts. Our journey towards sustainability has required significant time, effort, and a careful balance between commercial pressures and environmental considerations. Like many of our clients, we aim to lead in sustainability within our sector, making meaningful changes without resorting to greenwashing or superficial solutions.  

By being transparent about our progress, including updates in our annual reports, we can better support our clients as both search leaders and trusted advisors.
