Tim Hartnell is a Principal Consultant at Berwick Partners specialising in Sustainable Packaging. He joined in 2025, and is based in our London office. He is supported by his PA, Claire Crawford.

Tim is proud to be specialising in sustainable packaging executive search solutions, helping clients to remain focused on decreasing the packaging impact on our planet. Tim works with many leading brands, from FTSE 100 companies to start-ups, including those focused on contract packaging, foodservice packaging, and recycled materials. These companies offer a variety of sustainable packaging products, including paper, paperboard, corrugate, flexible, rigid, glass, and aluminium.

Prior to joining Berwick, Tim worked for a boutique search firm, building out their offering within Sustainable Packaging. Before this, Tim spent 10 years gaining valuable experience working with specialist global and regional recruitment organisations, honing his ability to connect top talent with leading businesses.

Outside the office, you can often find Tim in the great outdoors, leading his family and their cocker spaniel Marley on some form of adventure! He also race directed the award-winning Sierra Leone Marathon for international development charity, Street Child.
