Intermusica are looking to appoint a Finance & Operations Director who will hold responsibility for finance, strategic and business planning, hr, systems, and operations. This is the key corporate services leadership role in the business and critical for Intermusica’s continued growth path. The role will be very broad however it will cover the following key responsibilities:
- Management and financial reporting
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Business planning (and the delivery of plan)
- Oversight of and management of international subsidiaries in Germany and USA.
- Strategic partnerships, mergers and acquisitions
- Managing key external relationships with advisors
- Responsibility for governance and compliance
- Lead on the development and effective use of IT systems, including customer relations management (‘Beyond Overture’)
The Candidate
Intermusica is seeking an exceptional, commercial, finance professional with a genuine passion for classical music and a desire to be part of an exciting growth journey.
Requirements:
- Educated to degree level and a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent). Ideally, further qualifications in finance or leadership.
- Experience of leading the finance function at Board/Executive Team level in an organisation of similar scale and complexity to Intermusica.
- Demonstrable experience of integrating commercial acumen into thinking on financial strategy.
- Experienced in managing external advisory relationships (Banks, consultancies).
- Culturally aware with passion for diversity and inclusion.
- Excellent communication skills with a high level of emotional intelligence.
