The Role

Reporting to the ITW Fluids Europe Commercial Director - Fluids, the Marketing Director will have overall responsibility for the marketing function, and strategy deployment, for the Fluids products and business. You will have nine direct reports across four European locations, encompassing Digital Marketing, MarComms, Channel Marketing, Product & Customer-Back Innovation and Product Management.

Your purpose will be to transform ITW Fluids Europe’s marketing function into a data-driven, customer-centric growth engine that enhances brand equity, accelerates demand generation, and drives revenue growth. This role will modernise marketing capabilities, optimise product management and strengthen market engagement to directly impact business performance and competitive positioning.

The Candidate

This is a role for an established Marketing leader, with a successful track record within a chemicals, lubricant or related process industry or engineering consumables sector. Hands-on, and with strategic capability, you will be someone who ‘gets things done’ and delivers on their accountabilities.

Degree educated, you will possess a collaborative mindset with a proven ability to work cross-functionally across geographies, cultures and business units, fostering alignment and driving business results.

You will be someone who places people, and people development, at the top of your priorities, and who allows your team to flourish with autonomy and trust. A credible leader, you will have demonstrable experience in change management and building a high-performing team. Experience of managing international teams will be highly desirable.

The position will be based in Leeds, but with an informal flexible hybrid arrangement, and will require travel to other divisional sites as required. Therefore, there is flexibility on where the successful candidate is currently based, provided they are able to work from the Leeds office three days per week on average.
