About the Role of Head of Training and Education

We are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking individual to join our team as the Head of Training and Education. This pivotal role involves overseeing all vocational and academic qualification programmes of NASC and CISRS, ensuring they align with our strategic business goals. You will be instrumental in developing and implementing innovative training programs that meet industry standards and address the evolving needs of the scaffolding and access sector.

As the Head of Training and Education, You Will Be Responsible For:

  • Strategic and Tactical Leadership: Developing and implementing a strategic vision for NASC and CISRS training and education programs.
  • Programme Oversight and Development: Leading the development and implementation of new vocational and academic qualification programs.
  • Quality Assurance and Control: Establishing, monitoring, and analysing key quality control metrics for training centres and course delivery.
  • Promotion and Business Development: Supporting the promotion of CISRS training programs both within the UK and internationally.
  • Key Relationships: Managing the Training Manager and Careers Manager, and collaborating with various departments and external stakeholders.

To Qualify for the Position of Head of Training and Education you must have:

  • Extensive experience in managing vocational and academic training programs, preferably within the construction or scaffolding sectors.
  • Demonstrable experience of working effectively with external partners in the education sector, with a particular emphasis on further education colleges / higher education institutions.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to manage both strategic and tactical responsibilities effectively.
  • In-depth knowledge of industry-specific qualification standards, training requirements, and best practices.
  • Proven track record in developing and implementing course materials and ensuring quality assurance.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
