With an agenda of transformation BCS are currently entering into a 5-year strategy built to capture opportunities for growth with increasing levels of influence. They aim to play a pivotal role in addressing systemic societal issues and the digital future.

BCS are looking for a Group COO who will be responsible for the strategic direction and long-term financial stability of the Group. The focus will be operational efficiency and process excellence with innovative adoption of the right technologies proving vital to the future success of BCS.

You will bring:

  • A depth and breadth of financial leadership experience and a professional accountancy qualification (Chartered is desirable, but not essential).
  • A high EQ approach to people leadership, ideally formed by leading across multiple functions.
  • Experience of working in a commercial business (technology industry would be desirable) as well as an understanding/affinity for the not for profit / charity sector.
  • A commercial mindset.
  • A history of delivering process excellence through transformation.
  • A Digital focus – having driven a digitalisation agenda in its broadest sense, and able to demonstrate how technology can enhance all aspects of the organization.
  • Significant Board level experience, preferably as COO, CFO or Group Finance Director.
