Director of Income & Engagement, Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance, Lincoln, £75,000 - £80,000 + Excellent Benefits

Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance is one of the UK’s leading Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (HEMS) charities. Giving a patient the best chance of making a full recovery, the Air Ambulance crew effectively take the hospital to the scene of the emergency. Their Helicopter can get to any point in the two counties in less than 20 minutes. Receiving no direct government funding, the charity is only able to deliver this life-saving service with the support of the local communities they serve.

The last few years have seen transformational growth across the Charity and despite the challenges brought about by the cost of living on both their income generation and operational costs, they have developed and implemented an ambitious strategy to continue their growth in order to be by the side of more patients.

The fundraising, retail and communications & marketing team are the engine-room which drives their plans to raise the £13m they need this year for ‘business as usual’. They are constantly seeking to do more for their communities through reaching more patients meaning their income generation will need to grow further as they embed their new Income Generation Strategy. They are looking for a Director of Income & Engagement to lead, motivate and inspire their talented team as they further grow and transform this wonderful Charity.

You will have a director level commercial or charity sector background within income generation, business development or marketing, responsible for significant targets and a deep understanding of the demands of delivering results. Bringing energy, passion for the cause and a dynamic approach, you will contribute to the wider leadership of the Charity.

  • Demonstrable track record of successfully leading, motivating and developing a high-performing multi-disciplinary team

  • Target-driven approach, skilled at the deployment of resources to maximise income generation
