Marketing Director, Location: Midlands/Staffordshire, Salary: Excellent basic, plus bonus and benefits

Design led and spanning multiple categories, it has developed a collection of unrivalled products over the past 30 years which have delighted consumers across multiple channels. As they continue their growth strategy, they now seek a Marketing & Brand Director/Head of Marketing to elevate the brand journey, igniting excitement and fostering loyalty within consumers.

The Role

  • Reporting to the CEO, you will lead the development of a new brand architecture and strategy which aligns to the overarching business objectives. Identify and develop captivating marketing campaigns that set the organisation apart, boosting brand recognition, engagement and loyalty.
  • Collaborate closely with product development and sales colleagues to develop and execute go-to market strategies for new product launches and ensure effective communication throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Ensure brand alignment across all business functions, sharing feedback to ensure all customer touchpoints deliver a consistent and positive brand experience.
  • Provide creative direction and oversee the development of brand assets, including brochures, advertising, packaging, digital content and promotional materials to drive brand awareness and support sales teams.

The Person

  • Experience of developing and implementing successful consumer marketing and brand strategies to relevant customer targets (ideally from sectors such as apparel, homewares, health, beauty, home furnishings).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work closely with stakeholders across a broad range of functions to achieve shared goals.
  • Leadership and development of a team.
  • Strong understanding of market trends and consumer behaviour.
  • Experience of integrating digital and traditional marketing across B2B and B2B2C channels.
