The UK market is pivotal to the business’ expansion plans within the EMEA region, particularly within the military and law enforcement sectors.
The Role
As the UK Sales Director, Federal Tactical, you will be responsible for managing accounts across the UK and overseeing the channel strategy. Your mission will be to increase business volume by growing the existing portfolio of accounts and establishing new business opportunities within the Federal Tactical (MOD/Military, Blue Light, Government, Search & Rescue, Airsoft, Paintball and Survival) sector.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Developing and maintaining business-to-business relationships with new and existing customers within the territory, working daily with retail and wholesale distribution networks to maximise product demand.
- Identifying market trends, capturing customer feedback to assist in new product development and go-to-market launches, and reviewing market pricing and structures to identify new distribution channels.
- Providing expert advice to Mechanix Wear executive management on UK business issues, establishing annual sales targets, and collaborating with R&D and distributors on tenders.
- Reporting weekly sales activity to executive management and consistently complying with Mechanix Wear policies.
The Person
This role is well suited towards candidates with a proven track record of success in a similar role, within the Federal Tactical sector (MOD/Military, Blue Light, Government, Search & Rescue, Airsoft, Paintball and Survival).
- You will have experience managing a small team and possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to work with autonomy.
- You will have a proven track record of success delivering significant sales within new and existing customers with the ability to identify and capitalise on trends and opportunities within the market.
- You will be a completer-finisher, with a drive to deliver results and exceed business and customer expectations.
