Odgers Berndtson’s I&D Consultancy will help organisations create inclusive workplaces, enabling its clients to recruit, promote, and retain newly hired diverse talent
-
The consultancy will launch off the back of the company’s Unlimited festival – a two-week global celebration of Odgers Berndtson’s culture, philosophy, and commitment to inclusion and diversity
Odgers Berndtson, a leading global executive search firm, has launched an inclusion and diversity consultancy as part of its ongoing mission to help its clients become demonstrably more inclusive.
The consultancy will be evidence based, provide smart yet simple frameworks and methodologies, be conscious of context, and will be delivered by qualified I&D practitioners. It will offer a full suite of I&D services, comprising advisory services, workplace analytics, and I&D training.
As part of the advisory services, Odgers Berndtson’s clients will have access to bespoke support depending on their specific requirements. This includes strategy workshops, executive coaching, governance models and KPIs, and accountability frameworks. The workplace analytics will involve mapping the flow of talent, identifying recruitment and performance management biases, defining an organisation’s bespoke business case for I&D, and assessing an organisation’s I&D ‘maturity’.
The goal of the consultancy is to help Odgers Berndtson’s clients make inclusion and diversity a part of their organisation’s DNA. From fostering a diverse pipeline of talent and creating inclusive onboarding processes, right through to product and marketing strategies, the services will ensure I&D is embedded in the cultural identity of an organisation.
Sue Johnson, Managing Partner and newly appointed Head of the Inclusion and Diversity Consultancy, said:
“Recruitment is the fastest way an organisation can become more diverse. But that’s only half the battle. Creating genuinely inclusive workplaces, where people feel respected, valued, and where they can be their true selves is how organisations keep their diverse talent. Through the Odgers Berndtson I&D Consultancy, we aim to make this a reality for all our clients”.
The I&D Consultancy is yet another addition to Odgers Berndtson’s I&D portfolio. This includes, but is not limited to, the company’s involvement in the Rebus programme, the InsideOut Leaderboard, and the All-in Diversity Index. The consultancy launch also coincides with Odgers Berndtson’s Unlimited festival. The two-week celebration will provide I&D training, upskilling, and education workshops for the company’s 1,500 global employees and aims to strengthen Odgers Berndtson’s commitment to I&D within its own business.
Richard Love, Managing Partner of Berwick Partners, the senior management search arm of Odgers Berndtson, said: “organisations who fully embrace the I&D agenda are demonstrably more successful and have more engaged workforces. Many companies and leaders are struggling to navigate a challenging and constantly evolving topic, and this is where we see an opportunity to provide insight and support. We are delighted to have such an experienced and capable individual in Sue Johnson leading an important new initiative for us”.
